What's it all about?
A light-hearted look at the people and places of Regina past. With a wide variety of local guests of all ages, we'll babble about the fun and strange events, people, and places that have occurred in this town. Part nostalgia, part silliness. A sidebar will be talking to people who did not grow up here, but *voluntarily* moved here. We'll examine why.
Who's the host?
Lifelong Regina resident, author, and humourist David Robert Loblaw invites local guests of all ages to reminisce about the funny and bizarre stories of this town. Loblaw’s nonsequiturial style of conversation leaves guests off-kilter, leading to surprising revelations.
His two books of memoirs of growing up in Regina were both finalists at the Sask Book Awards - see DavidGGrade3.com. He ran for Mayor of Regina in 1982, narrowly losing to Larry Schneider in a landslide. |
